We are now able to confirm the delivery of the DGSA examinations scheduled for Thursday 17 September 2020
The Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) is continuing to monitor the situation regarding Coronavirus and is in close contact with the Scottish Government and other regulators and awarding bodies throughout the UK, including the Department for Transport and DVSA.
On 20 March 2020, the United Kingdom signed a multilateral agreement, to mitigate the effect of DGSA examinations being cancelled due to COVID-19.
Following the cancellation of DGSA exams on 11 June 2020, SQA continues to monitor Government guidelines whilst planning for the next scheduled exams, on 17 September 2020.
A new DVD regarding the security of high consequence dangerous goods by rail and road is now available from the Department for Transport.
The European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road is intended to increase the safety of international transport of dangerous goods by road.
